Overview

SSPDU-28D-16-238-BXX is a compact, high-power Solid-State Power Distribution Unit (SSPDU) designed for use in air, land, and naval platforms. It delivers power to various loads through 16 independent output channels, supporting 8A, 10A, and 25A per channel, with a total output capacity of 238A.

Utilizing solid-state switching technology, the unit provides advanced protection against overload and short circuits. System integrity is maintained through user-configurable I²T protection, thermal memory, high-capacitance load control, and output voltage rise time management.

Operational safety is enhanced with features such as Battle Mode, Emergency Shutdown, and continuous built-in test systems. All configurations are stored in internal EEPROM memory, ensuring resilience against power interruptions.

Intelligent Power Distribution with High Current Capacity

The SSPDU offers a total of 16 output channels, configured as 6×8A, 4×10A, and 6×25A. Channels can be paralleled, allowing them to operate as a single high-current output to meet demanding load requirements—delivering up to 238A in total. With intelligent channel configurations, the unit enables application-specific power distribution.

User Configurable Protection Systems

The device provides both software- and hardware-based instantaneous trip protection. The I²T algorithm analyzes each channel’s inrush current and triggers disconnection when necessary. Thermal memory enables precise temperature-based intervention, while threshold definitions can be configured for both voltage and temperature parameters.

MIL-STD Compliant Reliability

The SSPDU complies with MIL-STD-810G (vibration, temperature, shock, humidity), MIL-STD-1275 (input voltage characteristics), and MIL-STD-461G (EMI/EMC) standards, ensuring reliable operation even under the most demanding military conditions.

Advanced Interface and Control Software

Configuration and remote monitoring can be performed via CAN, RS-422, and RS-485 interfaces. Through the SSPDU Control Software, each channel can be monitored individually, operating modes can be selected, faults can be reset, and the full operational history of the device can be analyzed. Custom user-defined modes and predefined operating scenarios are also supported.
