Mechanical Design Engineer

Taking responsibility for defense industry projects from clients, managing the design, prototype manufacturing, testing, and qualification processes, and preparing and presenting the related reports.
Selecting materials for the system or component to be designed, determining production methods, conducting engineering calculations and preliminary cost analysis, and monitoring the production process.
Creating the bill of materials (BOM) for designed or modified systems or components.
Preparing and publishing technical drawings, material lists, and instructions related to the designs.
Collaborating with relevant test units to define, plan, and monitor design verification tests and evaluating the results.

Graduated from Mechanical Engineering or related departments of universities, preferably with a master’s degree in a relevant field,
Actively involved in mechanical and structural design projects, with experience or strong interest in interdisciplinary work (automotive, defense industry, general machinery manufacturing),
Knowledgeable in engineering calculations,
Proficient or intermediate user of CREO/SOLIDWORKS, or advanced in another CAD software,
Experienced in sheet metal and machined part design,
Skilled in creating part and assembly technical drawings,
Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5),
Experienced in design and documentation according to defense and aerospace standards,
Knowledgeable and experienced in production follow-up, configuration management, and process implementation,
Preferably fluent in English, or at least intermediate speaking skills,
No travel restrictions,
Preferably an active driver,
Residing in or willing to relocate to Ankara.
